Our Story
How it started & How it’s going
Shared Vision
Revision Founders Michael Kroeger and Kelly Dolan took a leap of faith to start Ingage Partners, a Revision Collective portfolio company. Fueled by the desire to succeed in business while giving back to the community, they discovered Certified B Corps, businesses that measure company performance across a triple-bottom-line of people, planet and profit. It is from this framework that they decided to go a step further to build a holding company of like minded businesses where we can expand our impact, accelerate our growth and secure our future as an employee-owned collective.
Ingage is Created
Michael Kroeger and Kelly Dolan, were both on successful career paths at the same consulting company in. That all changed one day in the summer of 2010  when they began talking about how great it would be to make an impact in the community while continuing to build a career. They began researching how to create a company that would make a bigger impact both professionally and personally, and came across Certified B Corps. Within weeks of that first conversation they quit their jobs to launch a new business. Ingage was the very first company certified as a B Corp in Cincinnati (the second in Ohio), was profitable within four months, and wrote it's first donation check to a non-profit within 30 days of being an organization.

Awards and 7.1m Made
Being the first B Corp in Cincinnati wasn't enough - we wanted to be the best company as well, for our employees, clients, and community. In 2014 and 2015, Ingage Partners was awarded the B Corporation Champion Award for Best for the World Overall Impact. We were also a Business Courier Fast 55 Winner several times, and have been featured on the Cincinnati Enquirer's Best Places to Work list for 8 years.

Became an ESOP
An ESOP is an Employee Stock Ownership Plan that provides employees with an ownership interest in the company. The ESOP started with Ingage Partners employees first, and then extended to all Revision Collective employees in 2022. As an ESOP, all employees have a vested interest in the success of the collective, which in turn leads to success for our clients. Additionally, when employees feel like they have a collective voice, there is increased engagement, decreased turnover, and increased margins and profits.

Thrive Accelerator
Thrive Accelerator began as a separate company with the same vision for building a better business, like Ingage. The goal was to tap into a talent pool of underemployed and unemployed people in our community, collectively making a positive impact on the lives of people in Cincinnati. Thrive Accelerator recruits high aptitude tech bootcamp graduates from diverse backgrounds eager to build a life changing career in technology. In 2019, Thrive was officially acquired by Ingage Parnters.

Revision Collective Created
Revision Collective was born from an idea of expanding the reach of Ingage Partners. Why be one Business for Good, when we can be many Businesses for Good? In 2022, Revision Collective was created, and became a holding company to Ingage Partners, fivestar* Development, and Simplesoft Solutions. Together, we focus on a triple bottom-line of people, planet and profit.
